Woodsville, NH Shirley Claire Impey, 86, died June 18, 2010 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH, following a period of failing health. She was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, July 13, 1923, the daughter of Walter C. and Bessie (Wooten) Lowrey. A longtime Woodsville resident, Shirley was a member of St. Luke s Episcopal Church and the ECW Group of the Church. She was also a member of the Cottage Hospital Auxilary and volunteer at the hospital. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Gary Smith of Burlington, VT and by two grandsons, Shawn Smith of Sutton, VT and Bruce Impey of South Royalton, VT. Survivors include her life partner Donald Smith; one daughter, Mary-Ellen Andrews of Palm Beach, FL: five sons, Michael Smith of Sutton, VT, Brian Smith of Richmond, VT, Terry Impey of North Haverhill, NH, Shaun Impey of South Royalton, VT, and Dennis Impey of North Haverhill; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
