Danville, VT- Stacy Ray Crown, 48, of Brainerd Street, died on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family. Stacy was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on July 25, 1966, to Howard W. and Mary L. (Cote) Crown. Stacy owned and operated his own auto body shop in Danville. He had also driven truck for K&M Trucking of Monroe, NH, JFB of McIndoe Falls, VT and Harold Dunbar Trucking of Barnet, VT. An avid outdoorsman, Stacy enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling, camping, motorcycling, and traveling. He was a former member of four-wheeler clubs and of VAST. He loved nature and took great care in feeding and tending the birds. Often, he was accompanied by his faithful companions, Hope and Sunny. He was predeceased by a brother, Gary W. Crown on November 25, 1989. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Mary Crown of West Barnet, VT; his companion, Annette Burrington of Danville; her family, Katherine Henderson and husband Damon of Barnet, Jeremy Goss of Barnet, and Karrie Brill and husband Randy of Danville; and their children, Karina, Kyriah, and Kenzleigh Henderson and Kaylea and Landon Brill. He is also survived by two sisters, Sheri L. Lowe and husband Jim of Barnet and Linda G. Roberts and husband Gil of St. Johnsbury; a brother Gregory Crown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Stacy's life will be at his home at 421 Brainerd Street, Danville, on Saturday, June 13, at 3 PM followed by a pot luck supper and bonfire. All are invited to attend.
