Stacy Lee (Wadsworth) Salomaa 56, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 2nd, 2022 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a long courageous battle.
She was born on July 23, 1966 to Charles "Charlie" R Wadsworth and Marilyn R Stacy in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Stacy, as a child, enjoyed activities like ice skating, riding horses, long walks among other activities. She enjoyed those activities most with close friends and her older siblings. She also enjoyed trips with her parents to various locations to set up exhibitions as part of her family's business, Stacy Exposition Service.
One of her greatest joys, as an adult, was working with animals, which she was able to do for more than a decade through her job at Bradford Veterinary Clinic.
Stacy enjoyed driving her beloved Ford F-350 known as "Black Betty". She also enjoyed shopping trips, day trips to the beach and yearly trips to Massachusetts to see cherished relatives and close family. One of her favorite things was to be with her family at their shared camp in Newbury, VT. She cherished spending as much time as possible with her daughter Shelby, who was the light of her life and gave her life meaning, above all else.
Stacy is survived by her daughter Shelby Salomaa of St Johnsbury, VT, her second husband, father of her child and friend Theodore Salomaa Jr of Bradford, VT. Her first husband and friend who she resided with in her final years Randy Lynch of Bradford, VT. Her sister Laurel Bercume of Spencer, Ma. Her brother Jeff Wadsworth of Tolland, CT and her brother Steve Wadsworth of Warren, Ma. Nieces, one nephew and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother Marilyn R Stacy and her father Charles R Wadsworth. She was also predeceased by one Great Niece Madison Wetnicka of Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
Graveside services will be held on Friday Nov. 11, 2022 at 1PM at the Town House Cemetery in Newbury, VT. There will be a celebration of life with light refreshments following the service. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in her honor to the Central Vermont Humane Society. As a family, we encourage anyone willing and able to, to register and become a living donor.
