Sudene "Sue" Pratt, North Haverhill, passed away on May 12, 2025, after a brief illness. Sue was born in St. Albans VT on September 6, 1941, the daughter of Glen and Bernice (Croft) Saulters. Sue's early years were spent in Montgomery Center VT and later at the "Kurn Hattin Home". She graduated in 1961 from Minerva. She attended the Fanny Allen School of Nursing in Burlington VT and later worked as a nurse's aide at Brightlook Hospital in St. Johnsbury.

Sue married the love of her life, Ernie Pratt, on July 24, 1965. Together they purchased and operated the Bath Variety Store for 35 years until retirement.  Although the summers were very busy at the store, they always found time to welcome the family and friends at their camp at Halls Lake, making many memories for all, especially the nieces and nephews. Sudene was a communicant of St. Joseph Church Catholic Church in Woodsville. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross stitching, and knitting. She loved to be at home and was a devoted wife.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Ernie Pratt, and a brother, Ronald Saulters.  She is survived by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pine St. Woodsville, NH on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at 11AM.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bath, NH.
