Obituary

Tausha Lee Ames, 45, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2025. Tausha was born on October 19th, 1979, in St. Johnsbury, VT to Randy Lee Ames and Rita (Davidson) Ames.

Tausha grew up in Woodsville, NH, she graduated from Woodsville High School and attended Johnson & Wales University. In 2003 Tausha brought Logan Lee Ames into this world and he was the apple in her eyes. Tausha loved cooking, snowmobiling, boating, and water skiing at the family camp on Groton Pond. Tausha worked at Kelley's Market and Bustons Supermarket as a teenager, and spent most of her career working with her mother, and then started her own cleaning business. "Knot enuf tyme" Tausha moved to Nashua NH for two years and worked for Amazon.

Tausha was very active and a member of the Woodsville American Legion Auxiliary. She was currently Sargent of Arms and involved with the senior Meals on wheels and school scholarship raffle dances.

Tausha is survived by her son, Logan Ames of Littleton, NH; her mother, Rita Ames and Partner Ricky Hannett of Groton, VT; her grandmother; Bonnie Brill Edwards and step-grandfather, Les Edwards of Groton, VT; God Son, Jeremy Lanphear of Texas; God Parents, Joe and Darlene Fiore of North Haverhill, NH; Aunt Tracy Davidson and children, Summer & Graham and husband Jeff of Lunenburg, VT. Her special aunt Deidra Simano of Pike, NH, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is predeceased by her father, Randy Lee Ames; her grandfather, Paul Davidson; Paternal Grandparents, Richard & Evelyn Ames; and special uncle Scott Simano; her life partner, Mark Degreenia; and her precious doggy companion, Raven.

A life celebration will be held on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at noon, at Ames Camp on Lake Groton, VT.
