Obituary

Groton, VT Taylor John Hill, 18, died on Friday, October 14, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Hanover, NH, August 23, 1993, the son of Brian Keith and Lisa Ann (Clough) Hill. Taylor was a senior at Blue Mountain Union School in Wells River, VT, where he played basketball and in his earlier high school years had played baseball. Taylor attended the River Bend Program at Oxbow High School where he was enrolled in the Agricultural Program. He was very passionate about the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, go four wheeling, mudding, and snowmobiling with his buds. He maintained a strong interest in old muscle cars and had been accepted into the high performance program at the University of Northwestern Ohio. He always liked being in the company of his brothers and friends! He enjoyed going to his grandfather s to go camping, fishing and hunting. His true passion was his lifted 1996 F-150. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Patricia V. Hill on February 28, 1996. Survivors include his parents, Brian and Lisa Hill of Groton; a brother, Jonathan Douglas Hill of Groton; maternal grandparents, Donald Clough of Arlington, VT and Pam Clough of Arlington, VT; paternal grandfather, Keith Hill of Bradford, VT; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Clough of Dorset, VT; maternal great grandparents, Ed and Marge Fuller of Danby, VT; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, October 18, from 4 to 7 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 19, at 5 PM at the Blue Mountain Union School, 2420 Route 302, Wells River, VT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Union School, c/o Mr. Brian Rayburn, 2420 Route 302, Wells River, VT 05081.
