North Haverhill, NH – Theo Eva (York) Ricker, 111, took her final breath on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Theo was welcomed into this world a month before the Titanic sailed, on March 1, 1912, by her parents M. Jessie (O'Meara) and George F. York, in Northumberland, NH.

Theo graduated from Groveton High School, and then went on to attend the Wilfred Academy Beauty School in Philadelphia, PA. She returned to New Hampshire and lived and worked in the Lancaster area until she moved to Woodsville in 1938.

She enjoyed playing scrabble, reading, and spending time in her garden. When it got hot in the summer, she loved to spend those sunny days at Groton Pond.

Theo is predeceased by many of her loved ones. Her husband Nelson C. Ricker passed away on August 14, 1982; her son Richard H. Mayberry on January 4, 2005, her stepson Philip J. Ricker on November 2, 2010; her stepson Paul N. Ricker on June 9, 2012; her brothers Rex E. York, Max K. York and Horace J. "Ted" York; her niece Michelle "Goldie" Gilbert; and two nephews, John and George York.

She will be remembered by three nieces, Margaret York, Linda Muldoon, and Brenda Allen; and one nephew, David York; and four step-grandchildren.

Theo will be laid to rest in the Pine Grove Cemetery Thursday May 23, 2024, at 1PM.
