North Haverhill, NH Theodore Clayton Flanders, 62, died on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Fairlee, VT, March 21, 1950, the son of Paul Clayton and Gladys (Dickinson) Flanders. Ted served with the U. S. Navy and then married Linda Laramie on July 12, 1980. He loved tinkering on anything mechanical and he especially enjoyed working with any kind of tool. For 13 years, he owned and operated the Tool Barn in Fairlee, VT and most recently Allagash Automotive in North Haverhill. Ted loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He loved taking them on fishing trips and then grilling their catch, which he made with just the right touch. He was predeceased by his mother, Gladys D. Flanders. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda Flanders of North Haverhill; two daughters, beloved first daughter, Katie Martindale of Woodsville, NH and Kimberlee Langlois and husband Michael of Salisbury, NH; five grandchildren, Cameron Martindale, Cooper Grady (Ted s Little Buddy ), Isiah Hawxhurst, Micah Hawxhurst, and Lauren Langlois; his father, Paul C. Flanders of Fairlee, VT; a sister, Jeannie Williams of Fairlee; a brother, James Flanders and wife Eloisa of Fairlee; a niece, Kelli Leroux and husband Billy of Saratoga, NY; a nephew, Shannon Williams and wife Melissa of Amherst, MA; and several cousins. A man of few words, he will best be remembered for his kind heart and love for the simple pleasures in life. At the convenience of the family, a service will be held in the spring. Burial will be in the Fairlee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Founders Affiliate, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
