Haverhill, NH Theresa M. Holmes, 88, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH, following a brief illness. She was born in St. Paul Abbottsford, Quebec, April 23, 1920, the daughter of Adelard and Eva (Darcey) Chouinard. She was a communicant at the St. Joseph s Roman Catholic Church in Woodsville, NH. Theresa married Ernest M. Holmes on April 26, 1943 and was predeceased by him on September 29, 2004. She was also predeceased by four sisters Madeline Cook Louisa Connor and Maria Chouinard, Alice Massey, and four brothers Ernest, Albert , Lawrence Adelard, Chouinard Survivors include her two daughters, Christina Davis and companion William Boutin of Haverhill, NH, Susan Okurowski and husband Walter of Hillsborough, NJ ; three sons, Ernest T. Holmes of Haverhill, NH, Myron D. Holmes of Haverhill, NH, and Anthony C. Holmes of Haverhill, NH; three grandchildren, Sarah Davis, Walter Okurowski, and Daniel Okurowski; and five great grandchildren Lianne and Allison Okurowski, Ella and Mara Okurowski, and Tyler Roden, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be calling hours on Monday, April 13, from 6 to 8, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 14, at 11 AM, at the St. Joseph s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH, with Father Daniel J. Sinibaldi officiating. Spring burial will be at later date in Ladd Street Cemetery, Haverhill, NH.
