Woodsville, NH- Theresa Stygles Piper, 57, died on Monday, February 25, 2013, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, following a long period of declining health. Theresa was born in Greenfield, MA on September 19, 1955, to Ralph and Ida (Tanner) Stygles. She was a graduate of Littleton High School, Littleton, NH. Theresa worked for three years at the Brick Store in Bath, NH. She loved racing and scored races at White Mountain Motor Park in North Woodstock, NH and sold photographs at Bear Ridge in Bradford, VT. She was a huge NASCAR fan and always loved watching her father race. She always kept track of family birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. She enjoyed keeping in contact with her nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her mother, Ida Stygles and by her brother, Bruce Stygles. She is survived by her daughter, Ida Stygles Spruill of Woodsville; her father, Ralph Stygles and wife Liz of Piermont, NH; five sisters, Darcy Stearns and husband Wayne of Bradford, Melissa Young and husband Alton of Corinth, VT, Tanya Gendron and husband Kurt of Orford, NH, Dawn Stygles of Piermont, and Tara Durkee and husband Doug of Thetford, VT; three brothers, Michael Stygles and wife Wendy of Piermont, NH, Ricky Stygles of Randolph, VT and Arnold Stygles and wife Jody of Bradford; best friends, Richard Spruill and wife Kandi of Orford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A graveside service will be in the Maple Street Cemetery, Bethlehem, NH in the spring at the convenience of the family.
