Thomas E. Dow, 75, South Ryegate, died after a period of failing health at his home on Thursday July 29, 2021.  He was born in Plymouth, NH on August 21, 1945 to Albert and Marguerite (Hall) Dow.

Tom moved to Georgia as a child and graduated from Lizella High School in 1963.  He was drafted into the US Army on April 4, 1967 and served his country in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged on April 3, 1969.  He worked various jobs until he started a lemonade concession business.  Tom spent the following decades traveling the country working fairs and festivals.  Most recently he worked in New Hampshire and Vermont running Allana & Juliana's Lemonade.  He married his lifelong friend Shelly on March 12, 2008 in Bradford.  Tom enjoyed his life traveling and meeting new people.  He had his pilots license and loved to fly while his health allowed it.

Tom is survived by his wife, Michele "Shelly" Dow, two daughters Allana Page and her husband Brian, and Juliana Dow all of South Ryegate, a brother Leslie Dow and his wife Margaret of Lizella, GA, mother-in-law, Lynda Fischer of West Newbury, VT and his close friend Jeff Wietz, of Bradford, VT.

Tom will be interred with honors at the VT Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday August 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
