Haverhill, NH-  Thomas Sheldon Greenlay, 69, of Pine Park, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 1, 2020.

Tom was born in Woodsville, NH on August 3, 1950, to Roswell P. and Marguerite L. (Simpson) Greenlay.  He was a graduate of the Class of 1968 from Bradford Academy, Bradford, VT. He was a long-time grocery manager, formerly for Butson's and currently with Shaw's in Woodsville.

An avid golfer, Tom set a course record at the Bradford Golf Club and won club championships at both Bradford and at the Lake Morey Country Club in Fairlee.  He loved sports, and especially enjoyed watching all the Boston sports teams.  His football favorites were the Patriots and the Buccaneers.  Mostly, he followed the career of his favorite quarterback, Tom Brady.

Tom was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn M. Greenlay on October 23, 2018; his mother, Marguerite L. Greenlay; and a daughter, Nicole Paine.

He is survived by his father, Roswell P. Greenlay of Hanover, NH; a daughter, Tara Greenlay; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two step daughters, Carlene Smith and husband Everand of Springfield, VT and Christine Griggs and her partner Holli of Bridgewater, VT; a stepson, Michael McBride of North Carolina; two sisters, Dara Towle and husband Paul of Bradford and Darlene Thurston and husband "Chip" of Post Mills, VT; three nieces, Jolene, Stacy, and Jamie; two nephews, Shaine and Paul; several cousins; and three godchildren, Desiree` Davidson Costa, Crystal Davidson Smith, and Halee Davidson Allen.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date in the East Corinth (VT) Cemetery.
