Todd Kent Adams, 61, of Franconia, NH, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, with family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on July 27, 1962, in Hanover, NH to Raymond R. Adams and Beverly V. (Ladeau) Dyke.

He graduated from Hartford High School in 1980 and moved to Connecticut where he ran his own carpentry business for many years. He returned to New Hampshire and worked for Rod Benjamin, Newman Lumber, Davidson Lumber, and Lawton Construction Company.

Todd enjoyed working with his hands, you could always find him building, repairing, and tinkering on projects. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to classic rock, fishing, traveling, cooking for friends and family, exploring new destinations, playing the guitar, sitting by a warm fire, being an avid numismatist, watching westerns, and target shooting. If you knew Todd, you knew he had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing with his friends and family.

He is predeceased by his wife, Bonnie (Bennett) Adams; his father Raymond R. Adams; and his mother, Beverly V. Dyke

He is survived by a daughter, Kyra Johnson of North Carolina; five brothers, Lloyd Adams of VA, Gary Adams and wife Evelyn of White River Junction, VT, Gregory Adams and partner Kathleen Shannon of Bradford, VT, Brian Dyke and wife Chie of Wilder, VT, Gordon Bender and partner Bob Bender of Peacham, VT; four sisters, Sandra Adams of TN, Debra Adams of Claremont, NH, Ann Adams of North Haverhill, NH, Brenda Darling of Ryegate, VT; four grandchildren, Danica, Lily, Lucas, Bennett; four loving step-children, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be on Friday, December 22 from 5 to 7 PM at Ricker Funeral Home & Cremation Care of Woodsville, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville NH.

A Graveside Service will be in the spring.
