SPC. Tyler Rogers Holloway passed away on December 27, 2024, in Tidewater, Oregon.

Tyler was born on June 26, 1998, to Rhonda Proctor and Michael Paton, Sr. in Woodsville, NH. Tyler spent his childhood in the Northeast Kingdom. He graduated in 2017 from Blue Mountain Union School, in Wells River VT. Tyler joined the workforce after graduating and in 2019 enlisted in Active Duty with the US Army. He did his Basic Training in Columbia, SC and was later stationed in El Paso, TX at Fort Bliss. He did a Tour of Duty in Korea in 2021 before getting Honorably Discharged in August 2022. He received an Army Achievement Medal and a Korea Defense Service Medal among many other Medals and Achievements.

Tyler was outgoing and enjoyed life. He lived like it was his last day, to the fullest. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, snowmobiles, fishing, hanging with his family and friends, traveling, and made a few cross country trips between Vermont and Oregon. Tyler had a big heart for Vermont where he grew up and for Oregon where he spent his last days. While in Oregon he had a hand in Commercial Fishing with Harley off the coast of Newport. It was there he met many other friends that he considered family on the Prindel Creek Farm in Tidewater. He was always there to help others in where he resided and when he was back home for visits in Vermont. He loved tinkering and made an impact in the lives of others.

Tyler is survived by his Mother, Rhonda Proctor and Father, Michael Paton, Sr (Christine). He is also survived by his Brother, Dallas Holloway; Half-Brothers Michael Paton, Jr and Joshua Paton; Half-Sisters Cheyenne Paton and Melinda Paton; Step-Brother Tim O'Keefe and Step Sister Alicia O'Keefe. Maternal Grandfather Kevin Proctor. Uncle Chris Colbeth (Mary), Aunt Bobbie Jo Roberts (Kevin Worth), Cousins Jeffrey Joel Roberts (Lindsey) and Tristan Colbeth. Tyler's Girlfriend Amy Jewett. Tyler's Family Dog, Angel. Tyler's Closest Friends: Becca, Jimmy, Starlyn, Melanie, Joe, and Dan. Tyler had many other friends between Oregon and Vermont as well as many he served with in the military. Tyler also leaves those he was closest to at Prindel Creek Farm.

Tyler was predeceased by his Maternal Grandmother, Sharon Proctor and Step-Grandfather Elwyn Colbeth, Step-Grandmother Carline Proctor. Paternal Grandmother Betty Paton and Grandfather Bob Paton, Step-Grandfather Bill Gilson. He was also predeceased by his best friend, Bubba.
