Warren, NH – Vicki G. (Brooks) Libby, 67, died at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, September 8, 2024. She was welcomed into this world by her parents, Emily (Gay) and Victor Brooks on November 29, 1956, in Woodsville, NH.
Vicki's parents were hard workers, and it is no surprise that she too was a hard worker. She had many jobs over the years, and only some of the jobs gave her income. She spent some time working in the Warren School; in the Superintendent's Office, cleaning at the school, she was teacher's aide for many years and helping out with summer school. Off and on over the years, she was a Tupperware and Rubbermaid sales rep. At one point she had worked as a cook, she worked at Glencliff, Pike Industries, Ryezak's, did a stint working at Burger King as well, and eventually got a job as a secretary at Plymouth State. She worked there for 10 years, during which time she took advantage of the classes there and in 2010 received her bachelor's in business.
Other jobs that Vicki had over the years were more about giving than receiving. She was a caretaker for a neighbor, volunteered at Sunday school, and was a Girl Scout and 4-H leader teaching crafts. Vicki was very crafty and loved to teach others how to be crafty like her and would often have a table at fairs and craft fairs selling the items she made.  She loved to travel with her family to campgrounds in New England and Florida, as well as her seasonal at Cascade Campground in Loudon, NH.
Vicki was predeceased by her parents, Emily and Victor Brooks, and by a brother, Vic Brooks.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Grover Libby; her son Travis Libby and his wife Sarah Gaylord of Warren, NH; her daughter Kristal Barker and her husband Dan of Warren, NH; six grandchildren; and her siblings, Victor Brooks, Jr., Barry Brooks, Sally Merrill, Brenda Fijalkowski, Diana Thoroughgood and Helen Bittorf.
There will be a graveside service in Warren Village Cemetery on Saturday September 21, 2024, at 11 AM with Melissa Gould as celebrant.
