Wayne S. McDanolds, 66, North Haverhill, passed away after a period of failing heath on Sunday May 1, 2022, at the Grafton County Nursing Home.  He was born in Haverhill, NH on November 22, 1955, to Richard and Inka (Koski) McDanolds.

Wayne graduated from Woodsville High School in 1975 and enlisted in the US Air Force.  He was honorably discharged and returned to work on the family farm.  He worked on the farm until the cows were sold in 2001 and went to work at the Hobo Railroad and Blackmount Equipment as long as his health allowed.  Wayne served his community as a volunteer firefighter on the North Haverhill Fire Department for over 35 years.

Wayne is predeceased by his mother Inka McDanolds and his grandfather Roe McDanolds.  He is survived by his father, Richard G. McDanolds, two brothers, Stuart McDanolds and his wife Deborah and Cory McDanolds and his wife Terri, a nephew, Philip McDanolds and his wife Andrea; three nieces, Sara Asante and her husband Kwame, Heather Rodeck and her husband August, and Megan Harris and her husband George; three grand-nephews, Luke, Marshall, and Landon; and six grand-nieces, Nora, Lydia, Patricia, Aubrey, and Paige.

Calling hours will be Monday May 16, 2022, from 6-8PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.  A graveside service will be at the Horse Meadow Cemetery on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10AM with Melissa Gould as Celebrant.
