William J. Boutin, 63, passed away on February 24, 2018, at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH, with his family by his side.

He was born on August 7, 1954 at Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH, to Wilfred and Barbara (Pecor) Boutin

Billy was a self-employed logger who loved being in the outdoors.  He always took great pride in his work.  He raised beautiful gardens, did lots of carpentry, and was always willing to help family and friends with their own projects.

He had a big heart and was loved, especially by the kids in his extended family.  He was "Uncle Billy" to them all, and many of them were there on the day he died.

Billy leaves his three children, Jennifer Larson, William Boutin, Jr., and Katie Fields, and three grandchildren, Thorin, Autumn, and Ellie.

He also leaves three sisters, Joan Bruce, Deborah Stimson, and Brenda Martel; his mother, Barbara "Dodie" Boutin; and his brother, David.

He was predeceased by his brother, Michael and his father, Wilfred.

His loving sisters took such good care of him after his stroke until he went to the nursing home six months ago.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside memorial service will be held in late May at the family lot in No. 6 Cemetery in East Haverhill.
